Not the original anon but for strictly obvious CLOSE friends her and Marine are best friends, Luna has been a pretty good friend since rust, and I think she's been close with Azki for forever. Some others that idk their exact personal relationships, but they are clearly good friends: Sakamata, Hachaama, Noel, Flare, Pekora, Lamy, Polka, Koyori, and many more these are just the very obvious ones that are frequently on her stream or she's doing stuff with. Despite the narrative being that Kanata is a loner she's actually friendly with a lot of people and is well connected and respected in hololive.

I'm really happy that Kanata brought up wanting to do more music a lot and it being a big part of her identity in the main channel video. It's not like I thought she was giving up on music because she obviously wasn't, but it's just nice to see her reinforcing her goals and determination. I also think her identity as a music holo has become less prevalent in the eyes of the average fan recently so this was nice to see.

No. I can't think of many things that would make me drop Kanata other than a lack of interest in vtubers entirely.

The key to picking a good oshi is finding one who's hardworking and not "picking" someone off of a debut. Wait untill they have actually streamed a bit and shown their personality, so you can see if they actually allign with your tastes. I wanted one who actually likes and appreciates her fans, is great at music, has sufferkino, feels genuine, and most importantly has a lot of determination and real passion for being an idol/singer/performer. Kanata has everything I want in a vtuber even if she isn't perfect (nobody is) like her being menhera and being the most unlucky vtuber ever that suffers the most. Just Kanata.
