In my opinion, he isn't a black sheep, just a symptom of a dysfunctional way to interact with people normalized in an uncaring society which is more comfortable communicating through a telescreen than looking someone in the eyes and not just looking through them.
I hope this bullshit is reversible. Maybe we'll all wake up someday, rub our eyes and reflect on what a weird dream the strange life we lived was.

The affection I feel for a constructed personality (like Gura) is real, but even I know it's not how humanity is "supposed to" live.
"Clowning on it" like he does isn't a solution, it's just as bad as fawning over a cute animated shark.
Genuinely living the love for the virtuality is, however (and this is my opinion, like everything I experience, really), way more honest than "ironically" interacting with the matter like he does. It's a coping mechanism to cope with the cope. A metacope, so to speak.
