>but Niji main branch's strategy is always clear: attract tourists
I would give you that point in December 2022, as they had an annus mirabilis with everything going their way with regards to attracting a touristic audience.
In 2023? Their strategy (or lack thereof) consists in trying to do the same magic trick in front of an audience that already saw it and
>trying to stop the bleed of tourists

Without success, if I might say.

Still on the subject of Nijisanji predicament in the japanese market. It was not just Koshien that recline this year, it seems that EVERY tournament is getting worse numbers than last year and this splatoon one is no different.
>pic related
Last year their Splatoon tournament was announced in front of a 131k crowd. This year?
>35k
Kuzuha POV for the first collab in preparation for the tournament got 44k. This year?
>It barely beat 20k (!)
I am not sure if that's a consequence of the departure of Mayuzumi but one thing is for sure: all of their tournaments this year are organized poorly, executed poorly and reclining in their numbers.
Even other company wide events like NijiMelody, they're getting a fraction of the 2022 numbers.
>either that or the anons calling "bots" were right all along, but I don't think that's the explanation
