I like Calli too. I don't think she is a bad person.
On the surface, I find her quite likable.
She does put her ambition ahead of everything else, and so it would be hard to be her friend.

I think she doesn't appreciate the effect her behavior has on others, or she just doesn't care. I think that schoolkid with the baked potato was like a Tomoko who wanted to be her friend and she was like 'ew get away from me, you menhera retard!'. And I think the Takamori thing was mostly kayfabe, playing up the 'passionate genki' Austrian VS the cold 'no affection pls i'm catholic' Texan dynamic. But then that airplane song made me reconsider, like Kiara really wanted friendship and emotional warmth, and Calli's rejection just seemed cruel and calculated.

After Holofes, and getting a new album and getting signed to Universal, Calli received calls of congratulation from Kiara, and Calli expressed regret about not calling Kiara since she left for Europe. She had made it, the first Holomem signed to a major international music label, 2 M subs etc. But she lost the opportunity to have a friendship with Kiara, and that boat had sailed.
