nta, but from what I've seen, a lot of it comes down to timing and saying anything beyond emotes and one word responses.
There are a few who unironically try to read as much as possible, so they basically minmax everything. If you're schizo or obsessed enough, you WILL be consistently read.
Using two devices usually always works for me. I use my computer to watch through wifi, and I use my phone w/ mobile data to chat. I sometimes use my phone as a second screen to watch as well, just in case there's an issue with my wifi connection

The only reason the homos started to get a lot of hate is because it initially seemed like they were being hard pushed by management. Most people who watch hololive simply want to watch the girls. I don't care for the homos, and would prefer they stay a separate entity from Hololive.

FWMC then became more hostile to Liquid and defensive.
