I still don't know why Vox doesn't stick with simple outfits like his Penguin tux in his 1.0. It's simple, clean and works. Its at least better than his last two and it looks cooler on paper, but with Nijisanji's rigging it'll probably look stiff, or just very out of place compared to the other designs.

It will be genuinely fascinating to see how Ethyria's panel at Offkai pans out. At least two of those three talents were legally implicated as being bullies in Selen's document, something that Elira came out and publicly admitted, while Vox Akuma tried to defend their actions by stating "in my opinion it wasn't harassment! leaving is also possible at anytime tho!!!1!". So they already have that problem to deal with, nevermind the fact that Nijisanji EN is now brand poison across North America. I don't know where the fuck they can go from there because all it takes are some hecklers or just one question about Selen to one-guy them to where they're too hot-headed to think straight.
At this point, the best thing NijiEN can do is just keep Ethyria quarantined to cons in SEA, thats probably where they still have defenders.

My theory on why old things are scary or creepy is because it is reminiscent of a time that has passed already. The past should be put behind you to move on to new, fresh things. So when you see something old it just serves as a reminder of death and sometimes gives you a feeling of dread because you too will be dead someday. There's also the nostalgia factor that will remind you of how close you are to death. Sometimes those old aesthetics like the cartoons and record playing noises can be relaxing and calming, so it's a perfect contrast if you put that in a horror movie because you're expecting something to scare you. You're put on edge because those nostalgic feelings make you want to close your eyes, relax, and reminisce. You can't do that during a horror movie when a bloody hand can creep out from under the bed at any time.

Oh hey I've been watching Gaoranger all weekend! A lot of ranger JP opening themes sound so happy and cheerful and that's one of the few that sound more on the cool side. I love sentai I should watch more of it but I've been spending so much time catching up on old Kamen Rider shows instead.
