After extensive research and about 5 days of ug fixing I've concluded Mint can't easily just port her kk model into a 3d, not because the process is necessarily difficult, but because the plugins, patches and mods that make it possible are utter fucking dogshit.
The main exporter mod has 3 different versions including a stable release, exporter release, and beta version. Each of these in turn has at least two different exporters attached to it.
Bafflingly absolutely none of these have even the slightest bit of backwards compatibility. In fact near as I can tell they all have different naming and directory styles.
To top of how insanely hard it is just to figure out which export can be used with which blender plugin the entire thing is run through a gethub page that only has a write up for the oldest version of the stable release despite all comments and bugfixing for the past 4 months being done in the beta version.

It's maddening.
