One of the malls I can take one bus outside my house to is closing down and I'm sad about that because they have a Build A Bear in there. However, a bigger mall I have to take two busses to get to is still thriving and there's a movie theater right outside it! I saw Promare there a few years ago with some friends! Malls are wonderful.

Sometimes I go to this bookstore called Strand in NY and it's pretty nice in there. Good books at a lower price than what's on the original label. I never realized how precious non-corpo bookstores were until now, so I won't take them for granted. I hope it will still be there for years to come.

I'm currently reading a book called Lab 257 about a secret island where they developed diseases and viruses and used them for biological warfare. Did you know that an island just off the coast of Connecticut near New York is partially responsible for the Lyme disease outbreak in 1975, named after the town Old Lyme where it first appeared? Fascinating stuff.
