I've been awake for a few hours now, trying to process my feelings after finding out about Pomu leaving. But it's just too difficult to stay positive. Feel free to ignore this post it's just gonna be autistic rambling about things I keep asking myself.

No I don't think it will. Pomu was the start of NijiEN, and I'd argue she was also the heart of the branch. No one worked harder than her and no one cared more about maintaining genuine unity in the branch and trying to make everyone feel included. She always kept trying to pass the torch to new members but they just never put in the effort and it always defaulted back to people expecting Pomu to be the mom of the branch. None of the males except Vanta even care enough to stream consistently, and with the branch just losing more and more girls I just don't see things ever getting better. It's safe to say NijiEN never would've been successful without Pomu, and with her leaving I don't really see a point in remaining a fan just to be disappointed even further. No one is gonna step up to fill her shoes, and just like Nina it'll hit them hard when they realize just how much she did for them now that they have to fend for themselves. A year from now if NijiEN still exists I'm fairly confident there won't be any big projects or events outside of something by Doppio or Kotoka or Maria. The rest of them seem to care so little about doing special things and are just content streaming the same games every day.

Honestly I give this general less than 3 months before it dies completely. Most of the fanbases don't like eachother, and it's been this way since like mid-2022. This place has been a soulless corpse for a long time and I'm actually kinda relieved that I'm no longer attached to all the negativity here. I've grown so tired of trying to have fun with you guys or building positive relationships with anons. It's all so miserable, everyone this thread acts so fucking traumatized by holofags and raiders to the point it doesn't feel like 4chan anymore. It's like wandering into a war-torn village where everyone is completely devoid of not just hope but even the agency to control their own destinies. None of you made any attempt to improve Nijisanji's morale whether it was doing nice things for your oshi or burning down Anycolor (metaphorically of course...in Minecraft) to fix things. Other fanbases wouldn't put up with half the shit we've had to put up with, like look at all the times the Holofags you hate nearly burned Cover to the ground to get what they wanted, and it always worked in getting their voices heard. But trying to talk about proactive ways to support your oshi in /nijien/ has been such a hopeless endeavor and I'm just fucking tired of caring at this point. At least I can look forward to a future posting in a better general than this one. Though it's sad being one of the original anons from the very first /NijiEN/ thread and coming out of it feeling like my home was taken from me.

It won't be the same though. Unless she miraculously gets Elira, Finana, Rosemi, Selen, and Vivi to join her there will always be this feeling that she left something behind or things could've been better in another timeline. Niji struck lightning in a bottle with Lazusydia, they were all so close and friendly. It felt like a genuine community and everyone was working hard to show love to their fans in their own way. Then with every new debut we got more members who were only here to make money and had zero passion for their fans. Of course every company has this, but with NijiEN it just seemed half the fans were eternally looking back to "the good old days" as if we all lost something along the path of ACCELERATION. No matter where Pomu ends up, if it's not with the people I grew to love then it's not gonna be the same. I will still continue to support her but I don't think this sadness will ever leave me when watching her streams. Eventually it might get too depressing to watch her anymore. Then it'll really be over.
