The other vtubers are now in hiatus or stuck in the 50s range: One named Arypie alien, Eira of Beatani fame, and Veleck the irish kot.
There were also a bunch of males,none of them succeded and those who are still streaming are still on the 10 viewer range.
Some were "added" later but none of them are of any renown nor made it to partner. This was reflected in what was called the /wvt/ pastebin and wars were fought out for being included:

The most successful ones were those who had viewership before selfposting.

There was a second wave called the /asp/ gen which actually changed radically the community since none of the people there had any interaction with 4chan before, nor any interest in holding up to holo standards.
