I think that's part of her charm, and so far she doesn't seem to mind the backseating.
It's been like month and a half since i begun watching her consistently so i wouldn't know if she has ever told chat directly to not backseat.
I know it's in the rules but she doesn't appear adamant to people telling where stuff or NPCs are.
