I think they were doing it to other livers as well, considering Mayuzumi revealed that his activities were planned to be changed by management.

Niji's whole brand was based on controversy, drama and trolling in the early days.
Sasaki graduated and then un-graduated over Nintendo perms and got a ton of shit over it, but she put out a literal diss track cover to her haters and got praised for it (https://youtu.be/HZleluBJrjA).).
Mito used to be a literal /here/ chuuba for 5chan - imagine if someone like Pippa or Beatani went mainstream with 20k+ viewers - that was Mito in Japan (and now you can start understanding why nijisanji fans are the way they are).
In fact, this type of trolling, banter and jokey atmosphere was the entire brand of Nijisanji back in 2018 and 2019. And although adults didn't like it that much due to the drama potential (and not really conforming to Japanese culture), it got SUPER popular among the few Japanese youths that were around precisely because of those two points.

But somewhere along the line, things changed.
Ichikara converted into Anycolor.
The guy responsible for early Nijisanji either quit or was forced out of the company (depending on who you beleb).
Nijisanji started delving into idol territory with their collab groups.
Newer livers started getting the usual bantz thrown at them, but instead of responding with "fuck off" content, they started apologizing instead.
e.g. Lauren profusely apologizing for using the word "Fabyutteru" (because it has some anti-Korean 5ch roots) meanwhile Mito used it all the time in her 2019 streams (not anymore though).
Imagine what anons here would do if a successful /here/chuuba company for 2 years suddenly started pivoting to mainstream and apologizing for using /here/ lingo.

Desperate fans escalated the bantz into harassment territory, and yet the response remained either just ignoring it or apologizing for it.
Somewhere along the way, the history, legacy and the reasoning for bantz (to get counter-bantz content from the livers and a jokey atmosphere) was lost.
Niji fanbase started harassing other chuubas and companies, and that was when things stopped being funny.
Now, the livers couldn't afford to be seen pandering to "that" part of the audience anymore. The audience that they themselves cultivated back in 2018-19 was thrown out.
Livers started getting suspended for bantz, because they couldn't afford to be seen as pandering to a "hater" audience (which is what their early audience has turned into).
Gundou gets fired over baseball tweets to protect their baseball sponsorships.
Entire company pivots into being "normalfag friendly".

And now their most prolific livers are quitting one by one.

He quit because of the company pivoting to the chinese idol route. Its the same reason why chaika has that non tranny costume since its easier to market in the cn sphere.

Dude comes from a well off family and has mad money, the reason he joined Nijisanji was to do creative type streams and make friends.

They're moving into more of an idol direction now and have started restricting shit, started from 2021 November from his words.
He didn't like where it was doing so he just left.

>Anons mentioning about Mayuzumi graduation in the previous threads
Actually now that i think about it, The anycolor dicksucking wasnt really that bad before his graduation. I remember it only becoming a thing when people were saying that he was an integral part of nijisanji especially with collabs. Then some nijifag said something about livers being irrelevant as long as the company makes money and survives.
After that corpo bootlicking ramped up in this thread and even outside here.

> Warabeda graduates due to health issues in April.
> One of Niji's prominent singers "Melissa" graduates on first June, 2 weeks after complaining on a collab stream about management treating her songs like factory items.
> In July, one of Niji's most influential creative forces, "Mayuzumi Kai" announces graduation due to pic related.
> 3 big graduations in 3 months = Fanbase worried, wondering who else is graduating.
> #graduation_rush trending after Mayuzumi's graduation announcement.
> Ryushen jokes about it, reading a chat saying "there might be people who decided to graduate but are continuing like normal" and going "It's graduation Among Us!" (JP equivalent) (https://youtu.be/VFi8PJOMUCs?t=53).). But that simply inflames more worries.
> Nui announced that she had an announcement, and then cancelled it. People speculate it might have been graduation, since she joined Nijisanji specifically because she didn't want to do idol-like stuff.
> Mito MIA for 3 months other than a sponsored stream, shorts and prerecorded videos. Fans so worried that Mito has to explain in a (now deleted) twitter space that she has no plans to graduate at the moment.

Nijisanji seems to have had a change in content orientation starting last November that he didn't agree with.

Mayuzumi's decision was made back in November anon, before Luxiem or Salome ever came into the picture.
I don't think this rrat has legs.

Seems there was a change in company policy starting in November.
There have been so many changes to the company since then, I can only think that they were doing preps for the IPO during that time.

According to Mayuzumi, the company missive that sparked his resignation was delivered in November last year.
iirc this was before Luxiem, but around the same time that one guy here kept saying Anycolor was going the idol route.
I wonder if that dude was an actual insider.
Oboretai is a faggot, but the other EN clips of this have dogshit translations, so I had to use this one.
