People watch people satsudan while they play games. Why not watch someone zatheldoon while a gameplay footage video plays? Surely it's more interesting than watching a talk show with no funny stuff on screen.
For example. Movie watch alongs. Do you ever find yourself tuning into a movie watch along stream and think to yourself "I'm not going to watch this movie and there's nothing but the avatar on screen to occupy my mind" just an example.
Surely streamers want to keep their audience engaged. Why not have gameplay footage on screen? Is it too distracting?
