Gotcha. I'm gonna preface this by saying you should almost certainly not pick this gun as it is a massive tactical downgrade, but if you're looking for clock based, I actually have something you might like the look of. Basically Christian Sharps patented his first rifle in 1848, and ordered the manufacture of a little over a hundred of them in 1849. Called the "Sharps Model 1849", it was precursor to the "Sharps Model 1852", which was the first reliable American breach loading rifle, and saw widespread adoption during the Civil War. Only unlike the later models which could accept cartridges, the model 1849 required both a bullet and a cap to be inserted. This is where the clock look comes in. To facilitate loading faster loading of the cap, the breach loader also contained a brass automatic capper, which looks like what you see in the pic.

Now for why you shouldn't pick it. The gun having such a limited production run means there isn't a lot of info about its performance. It's also American, while you're looking for a British aesthetic. Finally, it requires your soldiers to carry caps in addition to bullets while your enemies will likely need just one, and the caps will need to be reloaded into the autocapper when the thing empties out.

Still a cool looking design tho
