They're allowed to hang out in there so they bring their laptops and drawing utilities and plan their game out. She's learning 3D models and Unity, and he does programming and most of gameplay and level design. Life is a dream come true, she's always wanted a partner who shares her hobbies and creative passions. Every day of summer they hang out, work on their project, go to the grocery store for food, drinks, and ice cream. They may watch a movie or an anime for a break. It's tons of fun.

Then the camera pans out to show Shiori in a dark, filthy room, massaging a cigarette burn on her hand. Oops, she got lost in her thoughts again. Her boyfriend is on her laptop, raging over a League game. It doesn't seem like it's going well. Maybe he'll start hitting her again. It's fine though, he cares for her deep down.
