you will only get output prompts of things that are already made and fed in as training data or (from the AI's pov) 'looks' like it should work

disclaimer, i dont actually 'get' how transformers work, but i do 'get' vector space representation of data and how to manipulate it

softprompts are *A* solution to this and im pretty sure i get how they actually work (im not gonna offtopic rant about that), but its impossible to softprompt EVERY 'new' thing
