Sorry to disappoint. It caught me by surprise pretty hard, but that's ultimately the appeal of dice, right? In the same way that Anon's made it so far the way he has. I appreciate that you enjoy (enjoyed?) the story and the aspects I was always somewhat worried about (world building, characters, overall tone and setup, etc.) And I hope you enjoy the next chapters whenever they come out, since I've got a few planned. Actual spoiler discussion ahead if you really care to get pissed off and accuse me of being a hack, else feel free to ignore.
Stuff with Marine is by no means the end of any potential 'routes' if you're worried about that. Just a reason to break out stuff I've had sitting around since Chapter 2. Tonally, this was supposed to be a lot different at first, but luck always has a funny way of making things work. Sort of like creating a Fighter only for shit to go so wrong you're now the head of a daycare due to a series of debts. He should've gotten fucked a long time ago by this point, but the story would've kept going.
At the very least I hope you enjoyed the sex scene, but if hags aren't your thing...well, forgive me.
