the art i display in my carrd (https://tiny-vermin.carrd.co/#gallery)) is very anime, but i tried different styles to get there over the years. i started off more painterly, tried different proportions, rendering techniques, line thickness, etc. once i break down the defining features of a certain style, it's replicable to some extent.
