I get where you're going with that but I'd disagree. Early Nina before luxiem, was kino. She laid on the kayfabe a bit thick but was a min max autist who spent a ton of time going over intricate builds on boomer games for optimal gameplay. She was a zatsu queen on solo games and whether she felt like she was a strong content creator or not, compared to the rest of her wave, she had some of the strongest "fake it till you make it" type of shit going on.
I don't think that people were tired of collabs necessarily but ethyria in general are a cursed wave.
They debuted way too fast and failed to really capture the audience of lazusydia. This meant that even before Nina debuted she had YouTube videos compiled of her past life making her out to be this horrendous evil streamer. When in reality she was just an autistic gremlin, kinda like she was in NijiEn.

Everything she did was micro analyzed, I still remember people freaking out that she made Elira get up early for a stream one day

Nina was trying to fill dead hours and got harassed for asking Elira to stream with her.

Then Nina started grinding on TikTok and that was fun for a while until she tried to get two of the guys to kiss on stream and freaked out the Chinese sisters so bad they started doxing her in her TikTok comments and posting dox duets and shit.
She once called someone cursed on Twitter and Chinese sisters acted like she'd just wished death upon them.

What I'm trying to say is Nina dealt with nothing but harassment for years, she couldn't win. Then I think one of her family members got Ill and shit went even further downhill. Nina's mental health was degrading and she made note of that several times in this stream. I've compared her to NijiEns pink reaper, and I even talked with some of them at one point and they drew me this image which really meant a lot to me.

hey guys, I really liked the hag fox so I hope you all give her a nice sendoff and that stuff works out well for her and her fans in the future
also, one of our local OC makers did this for a passing honey who was a former deadbeat, but I think it can apply to all

I still think the speech she talked about being aware of how other people perceive you, how to actively work on it and how other folks will try to assign some kind of story/role to you and you gotta learn how to work with it is some of the wises words in all vtubing and in a way personalized content creation in general
