American version actually knew how to build up the tension; in jap version there was almost no tension up until the very end. Remake telegraphed a morbid message about paranormal death for whole week in the movie, while this one... kinda lacked the material. They just were busy investigating curse.

It's similar to Valkiria Chronicles, the concept is good, but the execution is lukewarm - there's basically no challenge, neither tactical depth to it. And arguably, tactical part in VC is incredibly fun to do, even going as far as repeating the level to get better score.

Without any sort of those underlying mental issues, there's no fucking way for ~30 years woman to have sudden case of dementia. That's just not possible without abusing drugs heavily and no, there's no fucking way she's sniffing glue while eating mollies like candies everyday either.
