Damn I just watched the stream, she speedran the whole thing, went through it like a written list.
And she was laughing the whole time (probably out of nervousness).
She had apparently thought about doing this since long ago, but fans kept her going. So might not completely have been contract related, but perhaps that was a nudge.

She wanted to keep going, and was not entirely satisfied with this conclusion, so definitely seems like her back injury was the cause (because obviously Cover wouldn't want her to be "unsatisfied" when announcing this to avoid rrats).
iirc back when she revealed the back issue she had some complex about it as well, as if revealing it would be seen as an 'excuse', which is why she delayed it so much.
I can guess that the actual issue may have been a mix of a new contract + her back making it - and streaming in general - infeasible. But she wanted them to keep it out of the PR statement so that it wouldn't feel like she was 'using it as an excuse' to quit.
I've been in that mental state before so I can relate.
