Current:
Moona is facing a battle she can’t win, the woman crosses her path and offers her power.
Flashback:
The woman appears to have stolen that power from the dark ones. She is standing exalted among the hooded people of Atlantis, then seated upon a throne.
Current:
Moona receives her blessing during that battle fully expecting herself to die in the process, but thanks to the blessing she is able to survive. Then as she crashes back to earth she sinks to the ruins of Atlantis.
Flashback:
We see that woman is being surrounded by people wielding weapons, presumably the Atlanteans. Then she wipes them out, assuming they made her their queen but turned on her when they found out how she got her power.
Current:
The woman appears to her as she sinks and offers her a chance to finish the battle. She grants her the full extent of her power with a kiss. Moona continues her battle and obliterates her enemy and in the process wipes out her own society. Then we see Moona is in modern times fully changed.
