Not quite accurate Anon. I noticed it on the last Spanish Stream of Miu. Pay close attention to the Keyboard sounds. They sound when Miu is picking a word from the Chat and translating to Japanese. Typing sounds always occurs when Miu is reading Superchats. But when she is reading normal Chat, keyboard very rarely sounds

To put it simple: Miu is capable to read and understand most of the Chat with no Translator. She uses the Translator only to make sure to understand the SuperChats correctly
