On the right it's less peer pressure bullying than it is just trying to drown people out by calling them whatever insult they think is most effective to annoy them until they leave. Or they ramp up rhetoric until everyone is exactly as retarded as they are. Unlike leftoids they're pretty open about their intentions if you let them gab long enough.
