So many people (but not all) in this thread are in denial.

Kiara is the only person in Hololive besides Coco, that would be fluent in both languages. It's not enough to understand the dictionary definitions, but you have to live in the culture to be aware of the nuances. Maybe Ollie can be a substitute, but Ollie is not as fluent or visible as Kiara. I don't watch Kiara's content, but I would be the first to admit she is, as of now, the real ambassador between EN and JP. Her holotalk career means she already has a lot of personal experience with JP girls.

This doesn't mean Kiara's personality or charisma is better than that of other girls, but the other girls can't even begin to qualify, if they can't fully understand the nuances of both languages. It doesn't mean the show will be as popular as before. Nor will it mean Kiara won't potentially shoot herself in the foot with something again. It simply means from a technical perspective, she is the only one who can effectively take over.
