I think recruiting Nijis works because their fanbase is kind of similar to our own in some ways. People who watch Nijis are used to male collabs, and Nijisanji vtubers collab with Twitch vtubers somewhat often so making the transition to watching VShojo vtubers from Nijisanji vtubers isn't that different. Holos don't collab with outsiders that often and many of their fans detest male collabs, so much less of their fans would follow them if they jumped to VShojo.
