Laplus might have given up on the “shorts lottery”, her last short was about a month ago.
It’s amusing that, as the meta changed from “#shorts” to “vertical streams #shorts” a lot of content creators (vtubers among them) were caught with their asses in their hands because many regeared their whole content pipeline to try the “shorts insta success gacha”.
It’s not that there wasn’t some winners. Akemi (from AKA Virtual) just hit 2M subs, is the absolute most subscribed male vtuber and is not impossible that he’ll catch up to Kobo and become the most subscribed Indonesian vtuber
