I suspect people these days have a hard time coping when there's something that's out of their control. That shows when content creators, implicitly mostly but also explicitly, talk about the power to control whatever they want to express themselves. Like, it's as if they don't have a way to make peace with themselves when that situation arises.

I don't fall in love with VTuber, yet. But, I did see VTuber as the means to fill my lonely soul. Even one time I did (jokingly) say to my (formerly) favorite VTuber that one of the tools for my escapism is VTuber. She just laughed at it.

I already know what it takes to overcome my loneliness: to have a real wife. No other means than that. Certainly not VTubers. What's the point to love a woman if you can't be with her?

What intrigues me about VTuber is that some VTubers love "freedom" (i.e. talent freedom) so much that they'll see anything that restricts it with so much hatred. It's like somehow a sheep reveals itself to be a wolf.

I don't understand when people are legit seeing anyone who changes their oshis as whore. I mean, it's a para-social relationship, inferior to a legit social relationship. The VTuber probably doesn't care when one or two people don't oshi her anymore. Also, you are a consumer if you see the VTuber industry as a business, so you'll feel free to choose your liking just like VTuber can do whatever she wants to advertise their way to entertain people.
