Much as everyone's tired of the MCU at this point it was great in the early years that they were unapologetically superhero movies with all the cheese and lack of realism that entailed. Everyone always likes to quote the line from the X-Men movie where Wolverine makes a joke about wearing yellow spandex as being emblematic of how movies from that era tended to treat the genre. Shame they've way overcorrected these days
