HoloEN was a good step forward, getting the western audience in and trying to keep the content from being so insular is the best way to prevent idol culture. The only place where it's accepted is Japan, so the solution is to make Hololive into less of a Japanese brand, and more of a global one. Mori did a good job distancing herself from it and dunking on the idol-worshipping weirdos, and hopefully this incident will make Hololive stop labelling itself as an idol company.
