I wouldn't be surprised if women preferred 'built' men over 'weak' twinks, but there is little evidence that women like the typical bodybuilder or strongman physique.

In general, women like tall men - that is actually backed by data. Being tall usually comes with a modicum of strength, due to weight alone. Having a handsome face also is of great benefit. But becoming muscular doesn't seem to be of great interest to women. If anything, it would help you assert yourself among other men and thereby raise your relative social status and thus appear more attractive to women, but whether this is still relevant in the days of online dating is more than questionable.
