She explained in her own words the process that led to her break with management, something like asking for vague permissions to do something, getting it and doing it a little more “over the line”, only to be told “please don’t do that last part again”, and rinse repeating it until management stopped giving permissions to vague requests and asking to see the final product / know the final content before giving permission.

IIRC the final straw for her was the joke with Kanata having suicided by hanging herself

Coco done goofed with that one, suicide is a hot topic in Japan because lots of youth hang themselves in the forest because of bullying or depression, wasn’t Jake Paul throughly cancelled because of his suicide forest stunt?
IMO *that* was the breaking point between Coco and management, things never got better from that point forward because they tightened her leash
