>story opens with people entering mint's abandoned cafe for the first time in years
>she observes them and learns that the strange men have bought her cafe and are going to reopen it
>as the place is getting fixed up over the next few days, mint starts to feel strange
>mint has been so lonely that she has gotten into the habit of talking to herself but after several days it seems like the construction crew starts to be able to hear her
>at the grand opening the new lights being turns on startles and blinds her, causing her to stumble backwards and not over some plates on a table
>she realizes all the people coming in have strengthen her ghostly tether to reality, allowing her to manipulate real world objects
>she spends opening week gleefully observing all the people coming to her cafe. i'll probably include goofy things like her playing pranks or roleplaying as a staff member or something
>eventually some hot guy visits the cafe (my idea was to include a niji ship here as a joke but play it off as them being old, hazy memories so she doesn't understand why she is so attracted to this person in particular. it's been months so i thought the drama fags would have gotten the fuck over things by now but i dont want people to have a chimp out so i'm unsure)
>mint is so delulu in her loneliness that she starts to roleplay as his girlfriend, at one point even going so far as to reach out and stroke his face
>to her horror, he reacts to her touch and is freaked out. she realizes she can touch humans as well as whisper to them
>to her surprise he actually comes back and sits in the same spot again. she thinks it's romantic but he is actually just there trying to record the haunting to prove it to his friends
>now emboldened by this misunderstanding, mint goes full GFE, taking food from him and whispering sweet nothings in his ear
>seeing the food levitating and disappearing freaks the guy out so he leaves and never comes back
>mint's loneliness is now even more soul crushing than before and drowns her sorrow in food from around the cafe
>she tries hitting on more people
>the cafe eventually gains the reputation of having some sort of ghost GFE gimmick
>weirdos from the internet start showing up at rapidly increasing rates, all of them hoping to get "chosen by the ghost"
>this results in mint being stuffed from open to close every day
>she's still invisible though so no one can see how fat she is getting and she doesn't realize it either
>one day an unsuspecting girl sits in the "chosen seat" and mint sits on her lap, trying to be extra cute for her first ever girl "customer" but the girl freaks out, screaming that she feels like she is being crushed and can't move. mint eventually gets off her and she leaves
>mint now finally notices how big she is getting but is to addicted to the food and attention to stop
>eventually gets so fat she can barely move and lacks any of the dexterity to tease her customers. they also start to complain about the immense amount of heat her morbidly obese body is generating being uncomfortable and people stop showing up
>after a while even her most loyal "chosen" can't stand it anymore
>in her scorn and fury, mint starts eating more than she ever has
>story ends in either public humiliation or existential horror, i haven't decided yet
