This select group actually was ahead of Hololive as a whole in August 2021 (when the strongest Nijisanji event met the lowest point for many chuubas, hooked on APEX) but in the following months their natural recline reestablished the regular order

The bottom line here is: it is not just the "dead weight" that is weighting down Nijisanji, the whole company is clearly laggnig their biggest competitor
