The Propnight collab was probably the awakening for many Quilldren. I remember the daily thirst post someone made thanks to that too.
To be honest, Ike is actually pretty normal guy with a rather questionable taste in media. I also don't get why he attracts people who want to be brutally murdered by him, even if I'm (unfortunately) also one of them. There's just something about him that feels like he's purposely making people lower his guards more around him, so he can be in control. He can be gentle, but also surpringsingly assertive at the same time I can easily imagine him singing me a lullaby to sleep and then slowly chocking me to death.
