Yes it actually doesnt take up much space unless the vtuber you records streams a lot which nyanners used to do, the first two years of her vtuber career or whatever you want to call it takes up around 3,89 TB.

Nyanners is my main vtuber im archiving for my nyanners archive at least for now. I do have some indies on my auto recording list that had delted vods in the past due to various reasons. I do make sure they were not deleted due to an accidental self doxx as i either edit any trace of that moment out or get rid of the vod depending on if its possible to save a vod that way and some vods get butchered by muted parts due to copyrighted music. The worst example of a butchered vod is the attached screenshot of an anny vod all red parts were muted by twitch bots.

(Nyan) Archive anon from /vsj+/ here i thought i might as well mention this here as it seems like nazuna might start to stream mostly on twitch, but is one of your archiver already live recording her twitch vods?

i know you guys generally keep an full archive of her vod after reading up on old threads over the last few days but on twitch theres the problem of the muting parts that contain copyrighted music (idk how mikeneko/nazuna is about playing copyrighted music on streams) which includes karaoke stream as an example i attached a screenshot of an anny vod i live recorded some time ago (The red parts are all muted) so even if she does upload her vods to her youtube channel the muted parts will be on the youtube vod, so if you want to make sure there are no muted parts the best way to prevent that is live recording of them with twitch stream recorder/streamlink.

Since you guys might be new to twitch archiving heres a guide i wrote some time ago about twitch archiving: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1OzwZq9xKI7otmI8kW0B8sV66ikswciZzigHIRGV9bJo/edit#heading=h.6gik2428z2ge generally twitch stream recorder is your best option as its a script that runs 24/7 and checks every 15 seconds if a channel goes live and if it does it starts the live recording and once the stream is over it goes back to checking if the channel goes live similar to yt archive. The only diffrence is twitch live recording only starts the recording from the moment you started the script unlike yt archive which gets the full vod even if youre a few mins late to record the stream.

If you are already live recording her vods/know about this stuff feel free to ignore this post but i thought this might be usefull to mention just in case you guys dont know about twitch muting any part that contains copyrighted music and you guys generally seem to care about having a full archive of her vods considering theres a full rushia archive.

I was on my phone when i typed this but heres a good example of a vod that got butchered due to copyrighted music. This was an anny vod i live recorded. Its rare that it gets this bad but i had some nyanners vods in my archive that would have been useless due to this.

She debuted two days ago iirc so i dont think so but the muted parts will still be a problem if she uploads them from twitch. So just to be on the safe side live recording them with twitch recorder/streamlink might be the best option Since keybros might be new to twitch archiving i made an archiving guide for twitch sometime ago, last link from my archive ritualpost if you need it>>28511799
