Yes, niji strategy for the EN branch was disappointing, they went far too safe both in content (didn't even bother getting males too, nice pandering to holo) and in mostly picking the big ones from similar circles
Niji scouts usually try to find people with original personality or content, not people who are big because they spent most of their time playing the number and clout chasing game, which is what lyrica and a few others are
I still have some hope for NijiEN but it's really not worth calling anyone saying something bad about it a "jealous 2view" or holobrony, nonsense.
