Becoming better, and seeing yourself become better at anything is fun, even if you never become a master.

We make these things unfun for ourselves when we choose to burden ourselves with expectations. Maybe when A.I finally does everything better is when we will be free to truly paint for our own sake and not because we wish recognition.
