So I decided to devote some time to checking how Holo vs Niji compare when it comes to music numbers.
I've restricted it to JP only since Mori will btfo all the metrics on the EN side.
I've also put up a minimum of 3 songs above 1M requirement so that meme songs and one hit wonders don't influence the outcome, and so that it tracks the more music oriented chuubas other than the ones that just dabble (but even if I include the rest of them, the result isn't much different, just takes up more space).

As expected Nijisanji has a solid lead in the 1M+ song department due to having a wide fanbase spread out through multiple livers. The singers that bring them the most numbers are -

> Chronoir (Kuzuha + Kanae)
> Ryushen
> Hoshikawa Sara

and they dominate the total number of songs with at least 1M views almost doubling Hololive's numbers if the 3 1M song restriction is removed.

Meanwhile Hololive is surprisingly far more balanced than I expected it to be, with the number bringers (other than Suisei) being -

> Aqua
> Kanata
> Okayu

Due to the much lower no. of members, they obviously lose out on the 1M+ songs metric, but having only just around 60 difference is quite impressive. Both Holo and Niji have 8 chuubas with more than 10 1M+ songs in their repertoire (Niji includes the Chronoir channel).
Also this doesn't count the holo orisongs stuck in topic that have 1M, so they should have around 10-20 extra from there as well.

Where they shine obviously, is in every single other metric. 33 vs 30 (almost 1/3rd of Niji being Chronoir songs) for 5M+ songs is really impressive, and even if you exclude Suisei, Holo wins in the 10M+ songs department with a very even spread.
Both Holo and Niji have one song each that have 30M+ views (Holo Ochame Kinou, and Kuzuha's King). Adding Mori would give Holo a +1 in this department.

My question that led to this attempt was whether losing Melissa would hurt Nijisanji's "music" aspect, but it doesn't seem to matter much to them as things stand. Sure, Melissa had a bunch of 1M+ songs, but Nijisanji have far more of that spread out. She also had maybe 2-3 songs above 5M and I don't think she had any 10M+ songs either.
Ryushen is currently a large part of their 1M+ library, but even if they lose her, they'll still have a lead there.

Perhaps this is expected due to Hololive focussing more on music compared to Nijisanji being more general, but I still think the numbers are interesting.
