She could be a power or virtue (punishing evil with a fuck off sword or creating miracles respectively). Principalities oversee/watch over large groups of people and nations. Archangles have widely varying levels of power and influence, with some of the most significant able to stand before god (ex. Michael) and are involved with significant humans. Angels are messengers to humans and throughout heaven. Of these, Kanata is likely an angel (default pick), archangel (gives her flexibility in influence, powers, ect), or power/virtue (power fits thematically for strong grip, virtue would fit for kindness bullshit). Probably a power.
