Nature Anon here. Next pack member to introduce is the bettwolf 2 aka Alpha. Not creative but his registered name is Alpha as he refused to recognize the named we wanted to give him. Tempanimals are good at learning their names and since I kept calling him alpha that became his name to him and he didn't want it changed. Alpha either knows humans are frail or he had a human pack mate die by a predator at some point as he seems to be worried about my safety hence why Sterling is now my guardian. I suspect he realizes I need to stay on the down low when I explore or he'd demand to come with me. He seems to have decided his sleeping area is under the poach of my house, which scared Fang when he went out side to greet me. Luckily they made up quickly.

Nature Anon here. I continued up the mountain and stopped at a clearing to rest for a moment. While resting I spotted a Bettwolf 2. Life isn't easy for Bettwolf 2s for whatever reason the Bettwolf rejects all pups with the Bettel 2 gene abandoning them at birth. If they are lucky their dam doesn't kill them and simply abandons them they have a small chance at survival. Bettwolf pups are born able to walk and with their eyes open but near completely deaf so an abandon Bettwolf 2 will wander, most will be got by predators however a lucky few will be found by a mother tempwolf of another breed or a human willing to care for them, these pups are all but guaranteed survival. The luckiest of them are found by Shinwolves who will not only adopt the pup but allow the pup to remain in the pack for it's whole life. Pups taking in by non Shinwolves will be chased off at adulthood. Lone adult bettwolf 2s will likely never find a pack often being weaker then other tempwolves some lucky ones will be able to impress an Altwolf pack or be strong enough to start their own pack. Bettwolf 2s born to packs who has a bettwolf 2 as an alpha will not be abandoned by their mother, if a mother tries the alpha will chase the mother off and give her pups to another nursing mother. Packs run by bettwolf 2s are always mixed species and will even have domestic tempdogs and other tempcanines in the pack as the bettwolf 2 cares not so long as you are pulling your weight even a human makes a good pack mate if they can hunt. 90% of wild tempwolfdogs are the result of Bettwolf 2s breeding with tempdogs.
