And yea, do check it out, it's one of my favorite works. The premise, as the name implies, is that there is a world where only birds evolved on land. Well, more like they were introduced to the planet by us, and then we fucked off, probably killed ourselves off in a war or something, but evolution did its thing here anyway. It documents the evolution of that first species of bird over the course of a few million years iirc.
