I didn’t even notice the typo until it’s pointed out… in hindsight communal child-bearing does sound like something you get from some kinda insectoid hive mind creatures
I think the religious division should still work unless the population becomes really unbalanced. I also feel it fits well with the ongoing tarot card motif even if they rarely touch on the deeper meaning of each card
As for MtG philosophy I ended up assigning each group a shard or wedge that I think fit them the most to supplement their philosophy and values but I don’t know if that’s the best idea or if I’m projecting too much
