Usually I do the comm prompts by myself or maybe ask one or two people for some feedback or if they like my idea. But since not much is going on in this thread and no stream today, does anyone want to contribute to the smoking prompt? Usually I will not write a prompt until after deciding an artist. But sometimes I will have a theme in mind and browse for an artist based on the theme. I think finding an artist that matches the prompt is possibly the most important thing in getting a good result. Separately, if someone feels like they have a great idea but not the means, I'd love to read your prompt (and maybe make it happen?)

I found picrelated in budget and thought it looked great, but doesn't have to be

Urban? Rural? Indoors? Outdoors? Daytime? Nightime? When and where is this bear?!
>Choose a mood
Melancholic? Cool? What is her facial expression look like?
>Choose an action
Well we know she is smoking of course, but is she doing anything else? Waiting? On her phone? What is this bear doing?!
>Define the clothing
For official references we really only have only the standard outfit with or without jacket. But you can dress her up however you like. Usually I will decide the outfit type depending on the setting. For example if we wanted casual clothes, I might just say "Casual clothing of your own design," but you could also get more specific in text (or in the reference).
>Anything else
List out any other details. I will always end the prompt by saying that anything not specified is up to the artist's decision.
>Reference sheet
I have a standard reference sheet (glasses and non glasses versions) that I will add or remove to as necessary. Sometimes I will reference artists own work or anything else that I think is useful. For some things, it can be easier to show than tell.
