Sitting with my friend and her sister and sipping boba while watching the world go by for a while made me think about how precious these sorts of moments are. I feel like these threads and Shiori are helping me stick to my positive habits and high determination despite RL health stuff with my mother being on the rocks. I'm really thankful. I should read some more Wind-Up and play AC to wind down, and gym this morning went super well. The other thing Shiori is helping me embrace is my own tangents and to not be embarassed, like today our food server asked us if we had any allergies and I reassured him that I've eaten there seven times and I've never died and cross contamination is fine unless I was to smush my face into a bowl of nuts and don't worry, no legal action will happen and I think it maybe made his day. My friends were very amused, Shiori is helping me not mask my dweeby little girl tangents and maybe that's something Novelites can relate to here too.
