Your mind was going places only to see that he was just getting more comfortable after a long day of work. He only took his pants off and left everything else. He slightly curls his fingers on one hand and presses downward toward your belly button. He feels the baby kicking and lets out a giggle.

"Haha, sorry," you giggle yourself. "No no it's all right," he responds. "I'm glad to know our child is healthy and active in there". He continues to massage your belly, almost in a way that admires how round it is. "You look so beautiful". The gentle rotations he does around your ribs feels especially nice, and your breathing gets better with each stroke. He keeps going for about 10 more minutes until you lay your hand on his forearm.

"That's enough, thank you so much," you say with a smile. "Of course my love" he says as he comes up to kiss your cheek. "I'm here to take care of you". You start to smell something and you jolt up. "Oh! The stew!"

"Don't worry, I've got it" he says as he pushes your shoulders back onto the pillows. He goes downstairs to turn the heat off under the stew. He makes you both bowls of stew to eat upstairs on the bed tray with a side of iced tea. You let yourself relax for good, knowing that you are lucky to have the best husband in the whole world.
