Step 1: Maribako exposes marine to a HUGE audience of young adult japanese girls due to the brazenness of the MV, the easy to dance choreography and the catchyness of the song

Step 2: This converts in subscribers and visits to her channel but, as this audience DOES NOT WATCH LIVE STREAMS (for the most part), and as many of them come from tiktok, they find themselves right into her "videos" tab **and** her shorts tab
Step 3: Noticing steps 1 and 2, Marine releases more songs with easy to dance choreo, releases more and more shorts and even releases some videos on tiktok
Then the cycle feeds itself. More japanese girls get exposed to her content, Marine makes more of the content that caters to that audience, her subs increase and her views increase

I partially agree with that part but I'll bring Marine as a partial counterexample. Her music is doing much better *outside* the Holo box than inside and I believe that's the bet Cover is making here.

Because it is not "using TikTok". It is creating a product tailor made for Tiktok, in this particular case, a high quality animated MV greatly surpassing five digits (in USD( which will never break even or show any return of investment EXCEPT expanding her mindshare

It can't be repeated because there is no guarantee a high production quality well choreographed MV would catch the attention of the audience like Marine's already did, REPEATEADLY and the risk is to end up creating another Shallys
