I have always found how little she talks about him and the way she does when actually bringing him up a bit odd. I'm not really even that big of an animal person, but I talk about my dogs whenever it's relevant. I guess I'll just chalk it up to her paranoia. I mean, she still tries to intentionally make whether her cat is a boy or girl vague despite saying "he" a few times now.

True. I've never gotten her aversion to talking about Chuubi. We don't even know if that's actually his name. Other holos, and streamers in general, absolutely love to talk about their pets all the time. But with Gura you practically have to trick her into ever talking about her's.
