The Mlecchans (which is the native name for Harappa, according to sumerian record-keepers) had flushing toilets and sinks in 2500 BC. 4x games never really represent relative differences in civilizations and cultures well- I always wanted to be Scythia and just have semi-permanent settlements and poo poo pee pee on settled peoples.

It would be tight if they had ruins of Jericonian civilizations and other schizo shit like that, like the ruins of the hypothetical Tamanressit culture or the Augsberg culture.
