Because they own the rights to the character / avatar as per contract so with phase deciding not to renew the contract they terminated the character. Read nigger, read. The only difference with Vshoujo is that they are no corpo and they don't own the characters / ip, they still are a vtuber union... that ironically lacks the namesake.
